Mardin (Arabic/Ottoman Turkish: ماردين Mārdīn, Kurdish: Mêrdîn) is a city in southeastern Turkey. The capital of Mardin Province, it is known for the Artuqid (Artıklı or Artuklu in Turkish) architecture of its old city, and for its strategic location on a rocky hill near the Tigris River that rises steeply over the flat plains.

Olive Oil soap is probably produced in every town and village in Turkey. However, you will find variations depending on what oils are abundant in the area. Mardin and Siirt are famous for it's Pistacia oil soap which in Turkey is called Bıttım Sabunu.


Bıttım Soap: No artificial additives are added during the process and it is 100% natural and handmade.
Just like all Olive oil soap, but with the addition of Pistacia oil, the soap is nourishing to the skin and can help with dandruff, skin rashes, blemishes, eczema and Psoriasis.
